About Marchpost

Marchpost is an independent software company. It builds one product: external attack surface monitoring and client reporting for managed service providers.

Why it exists

It was built by someone who has run managed IT services — Linux and AWS infrastructure, hosting, DNS, certificates, WordPress, networking and security — and who kept watching the same three things happen. A certificate expires on a domain nobody remembered. A client asks what they are paying for and there is no good answer on paper. A prospect will not take a meeting because there is nothing specific to say.

Every check in this product exists because it maps to one of those. Nothing is here to pad a feature comparison.

How we operate

  • We publish what the scanner does. Every request it makes is documented on a public page, and it identifies itself in the logs of every site it touches.
  • Scores are computed, not generated. An AI writes the explanation in a report. It never decides the number. A security score that drifts because a model felt differently that day is not a score.
  • We do not fake proof. There are no invented testimonials on this site, no customer logos we do not have, and no fabricated counts. When we have customers who want to be named, we will name them.
  • We keep the pricing legible. Three paid plans, per domain, on the pricing page, with no "contact sales" tier hiding the real number.

Small on purpose

This is a small company and it intends to stay one. In practice that means the person who answers your email understands your business, and that decisions get made in a day rather than a quarter. It also means we are careful about what we promise: we would rather tell you what the product does not do — and we do — than have you find out after you have paid.
